Sof Sole

The Sole is the bottom of the foot. Much like the palm of the Sof Sole hand, it has thicker skin than most other parts of the body, and is relatively less pigmented. A set of creases, formed in the womb, criss-cross the sole. In anatomy, the sole of the foot is referred to as the plantar aspect.

In shoemaking, the sole is the part of the footwear that touches the ground.
