ezine online stock trading
Online sportscard trading groups began ezine online stock trading to spring up in the 1990s, with the explosion of online access provided by the Internet. The first such group was Old Baseball Cards (OBC), which started up in late 1991, as a group of collectors of (what else, but...) "old baseball cards" connecting to the internet via Prodigy.
OBC was pretty much alone in this respect until 1997, when the online community saw the emergence of the 2nd generation of card trading groups including Trading Bases (1997), Old Card Traders (1999) and Vintage Card Traders (1999), and finally SportsCardFun (1999), the first group to charge a formal subscription fee for membership.
Shortly thereafter, we saw the emergence of specialty/niche groups such as O-Pee-Chee Central (OPCC) and Christian Card Collectors] (CCC).
